Our Original Explorer
Nyati, Kiswahili for buffalo, was the very first vehicle we equipped for off-road expeditions and it still holds a special place in our hearts. This Land Cruiser Double Cab LC 79 is Vincent and Linaโs personal expedition car, proudly powered by a V8 engine and known across our team as Vincentโs pride.
The name Nyati was gifted by one of our bush cooks after watching her effortlessly pull yet another vehicle out of the mud during an early expedition. True to her name, Nyati carries the raw strength and fearless determination of a buffalo, making her a natural leader on every journey.
Outfitted with a 12000 lbs winch, Nyati is always ready to help others out of sticky situations, including herself when the track gets wild. She has led countless expeditions, carving new paths, tackling rugged terrain, and sometimes even clearing the way when the bush gets a little too bold.
On our travels, Nyati becomes our moving home. With a rooftop tent, shower cubicle, fridge, drawer system, water tanks and so much more, she carries everything we need to sleep, cook, clean and stay comfortable wherever the road takes us.
Nyati is not available for rent, but she remains an essential part of our story and continues to guide the spirit of every expedition we take.

Vincent was born and raised in Central Africa and has spent most of his life working and traveling across the continent. With over 20 years of experience as a specialist tour operator, he speaks French, English, and Kiswahili. His passion for exploring and off-road driving has led to extensive skills in preparing vehicles for adventure.
Lina, originally from the Netherlands, grew up in West Africa and shares a lifelong love for travel and exploration. Whether by car, on foot, by boat, horse, motorbike, or quad, she feels most at home in the outdoors, discovering new places and meeting new people.
