Accessing a reliable camping 4x4 for a month long trip of over 6000klm in remote areas of Tanzania as a solo self driver I have independently travelled through the northern Tanzanian circuit to observe the wildebeest migration as well as many parks in Kenya and Uganda. I was keen to to visit the more remote parks such as Katavi and Ruaha which necessitates access to a well set up and reliable camping 4x4 as w one cannot risk breakdowns in remote locations as a solo self driver. Intu4x4 were recommended and they absolutely ticked all the boxes to achieve a trouble free trip of 6000klms on some very challenging roads in remote areas of western and central southern Tanzania . Amazing car and super helpful team at Intu 4x4 We had an amazing roadtrip in Punda, a fully equipped Landcruiser with 2 double rooftop tents. The team at Intu 4x4 was super helpful. The great example itineraries at their website helped us to get started and the team assisted with bookings and lots of useful advice. Expérience formidable Agence de location vraiment géniale ! Nous avons loué un 4x4 avec tente sur le toit pour une durée de 22 jours en juillet 2026. Équipement du véhicule personnalisé et tout le matériel de camping de très bonne qualité et très complet. Tente ultra facile à déplier et replier. Nous n'avons jamais loué un véhicule aussi bien équipé (déjà 4 voyages avec ce type de roadtrip) Lina et Vincent sont à notre écoute et préparent le véhicule selon nos besoins. Ils nous conseillent sur l'itinéraire, avertissent des particularités de la conduite au Kenya et surtout nous accompagnent tout au long du voyage en étant disponible par téléphone si besoin. Une pièce du 4x4 s'est cassé (les aléas du 4x4), Vincent nous a envoyé sur notre lieu de camping la pièce de rechange le jour même et reçu le lendemain. On s'est vraiment senti épaulé. Le plus : la vidéo...qui permet de prouver que l'on était pas en infraction 😉 et le traceur GPS qui lui, nous rassurait en cas de problème technique sans connexion ou de vol. Professional service and equipment for a self-drive safari! Very professional service by Intu facilitated a very special self-drive safari through northern Tanzania. Three week self drive We hired a Landcruiser (Duma) from INTU, and did a three week tour around Kenya and Uganda with our two adult children. Lina prebooked most of our accomodation for us, along a route she suggested. Everything went according to plan! We found INTU to be a very professional outfit, and the vehicle was ideal for the conditions, and very well equipped. Although we did not need them, it had a good assortment of tools, spares and equipment for almost any contingency. Family of 4 camping/safari/roadtrip We rented a kitted out Toyota HiLux for two weeks of camping with our family of 4 - and it was a dream! Intu 4*4 was so easy to work with, the truck served all of our needs (only used the tool kit to help out a fellow road tripper!) and honestly, the beds on top of the truck were so comfortable (that was one of my big worries!). Great 4x4 rental company We had a great exerience renting a Toyota Hilux (Tumbili) from Intu4x4. We spend 10 days driving through Amboseli, Tsavo West and East to Mombasa. The car ran perfectly, didn't run into any major issues throughout the trip. The best camping gear I rented in Afeica so far, the hardtop rooftop tents set up in less than a minute. Amazing wilderness trip Amazing trip made all the better by the superbly equipped Toyota from Intu. They spent almost an hour briefing me on the vehicle before I took it and this proved extremely useful as we used everything available including a puncture repair kit twice for a friend‘s car whose tires were not quite as good as ours!

Great staff, great equipment We had the Mamba car with a family roof tent for a few days. The car and gear was in perfect condition and great quality. Thank you Intu 4x4. Really great customer service, their reputation is well deserved. We had Ndovu who is incredibly well fitted out. Although heavy the vehicle is very robust and can handle everything. We had two equipment issues and Intu were very quick to respond and offer solutions offering to come out to where we were. We had the most magical family experience while camping with the Kiboko for 9 days. Everything for a fully self-sustained camping trip is provided from bush toilet & shower to bonfire grill. Also the car operated without any issues on the most rugged terrain.
