Introducing…
Nyati, meaning “Buffalo” in Kiswahili, is the first car we started equipping for off-road expeditions and remains very close to our hearts. It is Vincent and Linaโs personal expedition car โ a Landcruiser Double Cab LC 79 โ and is truly considered Vincentโs pride.
The name Nyati was given by one of our bush cooks, who stood in awe as she effortlessly pulled yet another vehicle out of the mud during one of our early expeditions. Powered by a V8 engine, Nyati delivers the strength and speed needed for recovery and rugged adventures.
Nyati is also equipped with a 12000 lbs winch; ready to help others, and herself, out of any tricky situation.
Nyati has been on numerous expeditions, always taking the lead, going off track and showing the way; and at times, even clearing the wayโฆ and that is when a front bulbar can come in handy!
On our travels, Nyati becomes our home where we sleep, eat, drink, cook and take a shower (equipped with the rooftop tent, the shower cubicle, the fridge, the drawerโs system, the water tanks, and so much more!).

Vincent Boulanger & Lineke (Lina) Sassen
Vincent was born and raised in Central Africa and has spent most of his life working and traveling across the continent. With over 20 years of experience as a specialist tour operator, he speaks French, English, and Kiswahili. His passion for exploring and off-road driving has led to extensive skills in preparing vehicles for adventure.
Lina, originally from the Netherlands, grew up in West Africa and shares a lifelong love for travel and exploration. Whether by car, on foot, by boat, horse, motorbike, or quad, she feels most at home in the outdoors, discovering new places and meeting new people.
